OCASCR promotes research on adult stem cells and regenerative medicine in order to catalyze Oklahoma’s impact on these important areas of science. With funding from the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET), OCASCR strives to support Oklahoma scientists through research, education, and equipment grants and help to recruit new scientists to our state. OCASCR also hosts a Distinguished Speaker seminar series that broadens the perspectives and networks of local scientists. Overall, OCASCR is striving to elevate Oklahoma researchers to the forefront of stem cell and regenerative medicine research because it recognizes that insights from these topics can help Oklahomans live longer and healthier lives.
